Ok. I have been diggin' this guy where I work at for a year. Well I gave him a V-day card with my number to him and he is just now opening it up! He called me today at 840am and left a vm saying how wonderful the card was and asked me to call him back. I called back and we talked for about 35 mins. In the course of our conversation I mentioned that I needed some "me" time and decided to take off for today. Well, after we hung up, I called him right back to see if he wanted to join me today to feed some birds at 2pm. This is relaxing to me. He said he would and to call him when I am leaving. Well, I had an emergency and forgot to call him to tell him. Didnt realize it till 3pm. I called and got his vm and left a message stating what happened and if he still wanted to join me. I recvd no call yet. Does anybody think that I should call back to see if he got the message? I think its a desperate move. Does anyone think I blew it with this gorgeous guy?

You haven't received a call because he's either thinking that you're playing games with him or trying to mess with his mind. Your job is put these doubts to rest. Your next step is to contact him, don't ask him if he got the message, cause he undoubtedly has. You can call him one more time, but if you do, don't call him again tomorrow and the day after...It becomes stalker status that way. Wait a bit, or just be clear at work. Just forget it about that las message you sent and ask if he wants to go out, with no interuptions this time.
Here's where you seal the deal without doubt, tell him when you're free and if he's free, you'd like to get together. If you set the time and date, the ball's in his park. And it's up to him to decide.
This way, if he blows you off, acts funny, is a jerk or is mature about it, you can tell what kind of guy he is and decide whether he's worth the hassle. Remember to speak clearly, and smile genuinely while you're talking on the phone.

No you havent blown it. If he's a decent person, he will understand that you had an emergency and things like that happen. At least you had the decency to call him and leave a message. I wouldn't call back though, he may be out or busy, and if you make repeated calls, it will make you look desperate and needy. Not a turn on! Give him some time, he will call you.

It depends how sensitive he is. If he's been blown off before, then yeah, but if he's pretty forgiving and understanding, then no. Since you had a legitimate reason, if he doesn't understand or want to see you anymore, then that's his problem, you did the right thing by at least calling and leaving a message. If he doesn't forgive you, I'd say move on, there's plenty of men out there who would understand.

ok yes u should have called but things come up and if he is understanding in that situation he will let it ride. Also if he really want to date you he will be around trust me....But you can call him to see what is the deal just dont become a bug a boo!....

youve known him for a year so im sure you didnt blow it, as long as you explain what happened i dont see a problem...you could call him either tonight or tomorrow, completely up to you, i dont think its desperate at all
