As a 40 year old woman I am so tired of coming across men on the personals sites that are in my age group and older that won't consider someone their own age and insist on someone 10-20 years younger. If this 48 year old man wants a 30 year old woman, why didnt he look for one when he was 30? It is ridiculous how almost every man wants someone so much younger. These men are not rich celebrities that can attract alot of young women with fame and money, most of them are just average guys , some with several young children. What is with these guys??

yes i see this alot it is absolutely ridiculous.I think they are just pigs who want to feel young again i mean a young girl like that isn't going to be around that long when she realizes she isn't 40 yet and the fun stops so yes it's weird and silly in my mind.These men feel proud to have a trophy like wife or lady on their arm and it's seems like a new fad or something?I really don't know why?

The obverse to this question considers why so many women look for financial security in a man.
I do understand your frustration but do you really want to be with those men? If so are you looking more for financial stability than love?
"These guys" are just responding to the women they've met who care more about being financially supported than anything else.
Let them be. They are made for each other. Maybe they'll even find happiness in supporting each others' shallow views.
Why care what they think, want, and expect, no matter how absurd?
You want more than a shallow relationship (I hope!). It takes more work and time but isn't it more worth it to you?
If everyone were the way we wanted them to be wouldn't that make what we want less special? Less exciting? Less worth it?

A man doesn't love someone who's younger.
A man loves women in their early 20's.
If you see young guys...they prefer older women.
Older guys just prefers girls in their early 20's.
You don't see 60 year old guy loving someone who's
40 year old.
Good example would be ...Hefner! = )

you see, guys go though the motions in life to keep up with the Jones's having to keep a new expensive car in the driveway,,, but then one day down the line want to re-live the past and buys an old classic worth mega bucks to re-live his past...and yes someone about 20 years junior fits ticket sitting in the other seat...thats life...
