When your relationship has reached a level where heavy "petting" will happen, you will allow him to french kiss you. Previous to that, you will have only allowed lip to lip kissing. French kissing introduces the tongue into the equation.
Yeah, there will be "tonsil tickling" and spit swapping. Sounds gross, I know, but at that point of the relationship, it seems natural. If you don't feel like it is a natural thing to do then you're not at that level yet.

I'm not really sure why they call it a "French" kiss, but it's just kissing with tongue. And I mean A LOT of tongue!! lol
