The bible says A man should leave his mother and cling to his wife and a woman leave her home. As far as sex..the bible says if a man lay with a woman then he is take her as his wife. Marriage is a union between 2 people. A bound commitment to love one another no matter what. It is definately not the easiest thing you will do in your life. It is quite hard actually I think anyway but that is why you take those vows. I think marriage is taken so lightly by people and so many people do not try hard enough to make a good marriage. They give up just to easily.

Well, a wedding is a religious ceremony, but religion is not spirituality. It's completely different. If you look into some of the biblical cultures, marriage is simply cohabitation with the males intent to take care of the poor helpless woman and her children and the woman's intent to be faithful. The public vows and such is used to give these people a sort of public responsiblity because apparently personal responsiblity isn't very popular in humans.

You could not have picked a worse place to ask this question. There is so many people on the internet with their own religions and beliefs that will try to confuse, lie, or just force their beliefs on you with no recognition of your question. You should read the Bible to find out what God says for Himself and not listen to anyone Else's interpretation of what God says about marriage, including mine, but come to your own conclusion. That is, if you believe in God in the first place. So many different Bibles? Try the original translation which I think is the King James 1611. The only Bible without man's copyright and changes in the English language.

Truth is, there is no DEFINITE definition unless you would personally have to ask God himself. Seriously. There are so many different versions of the Bible and so many things people "say" are the right way to do things that we simply do not realize the truth behind what we need to know.

Marriage, virginity, all that stuff really depends on what the person themselves think it is. Everyone has their own definitions about things (like said above), so it would have to do with a person's moral and ethical standing about those things.
