Without becoming Christian?

2007-03-15 17:00:20 · 26 answers · asked by Jim 1 in Society & Culture Religion & Spirituality

I did some things I am not proud of. I visited the house of God, and Jesus touched me and filled me with his precious love. Will I go to hell for having a homosexual relationship?

If you visited a house of God and He touched you enough that you are not proud of what you have done but you are still rejecting Him, then I guess you are right to try to avoid God's wrath. When He touches us enough to know that we are wrong we just need to accept what Jesus Christ did for us and know that those things are in the past and covered by the blood of Jesus but then the next part is to stop those things...should we go on sinning because we know that we will be forgiven? Of course not. And really what is soooo bad about being a Christian...I've read the back of the book and we WIN!!!!!

Death is the final judgment. No second chances.

There is no such thing as an eternity in hell. The fire from heaven will burn one solid day and night. The wicked living will die in ashes and go up in smoke. The wicked dead will be resurrected 1000 years later and face the judgment of God and the resurrected saints.

Putting on the righteousness of Christ will protect you from God's wrath. And your next question should be what is the righteousness of Christ? And that would mean being a christian.

If you insist on being a Christian then the only way you can reconcile homosexuality with Christianity is by picking and choosing scriptures you like while tossing out the rest. ALL Christians do that for various other reasons so don't let that idea bother you.

On the other hand if you come to realize, as I have, that religions are a product of mankind and that no god exists, then it is silly to worry about the 'wrath' of something that doesn't exist, and you can get on with your life.

You cannot, plain and simple you need the perfect blood of the lamb Jesus Christ. Without it you cannot avoid Gods wrath. If you accept Jesus as your lord and savior you are a Christian so there is no way to do it at all in my opinion.

LOOK...Being Homosexual is NOT the way of the Lord...I understand that you have visted the Church. ANd that is A WONDERFUL START. I just came out of revival, and the minister talked about Making the Right Choices...Being Homosexual is a CHOICE...Do NOT believe the Enemy(devil) told you you were born that way, because you were NOT. It was YOUR choice......But GOD.....If you believe with all your heart that he IS......Does not approve of Homosexuality...Even though he loves you, he hates your sin...For this is sin. And as long as you live in that, You can go to hell....But there is a way out, and that is to TURN your face from that sin, and Believe in Jesus Christ....Pray and Ask Jesus to come into your heart, and believe fullheartedly that he is the Savior....That he died, and rose on the third day, ALL for YOU! What more could you ask of? Hiding under the bed is NOT going to save you from Gods Wrath..BUT, Grace and Mercy will. Gods MERCY comes to you because you have not been tought the ways of Christ, God is not the God that will send Lightining and Strike you down, and All of this fictuous stuff, naw....GOD is Merciful, and He is SLOW to wrath.....So...Choose LIFE.....Dont perish because of this trick the enemy has you in....and believe me....God wants you to be in love...But be in love with the Beautiful Woman he will make just for you...Loving a Woman may seem hard to do as of right now, But if you Give your life to Christ, and WANT TO.........He will bring the desire back to you to Love, Respect, and Cherish a woman as your wife!
So, if you want to contact me, my email is nessafrumdablock@yahoo.com, I am Fourteen, Saved, and Oh yes, I AM GOING TO HEAVEN!! So...Make the right choice okAy?
Love you!!

God loves you and me Jesus can be your Lord and Saviour
and no I do not believe you are not
going to hell for this no I do not think so at all

And we all slip up now and then and why is the Lord God
going to send somebody to hell for messing up
in their lives and they may not be a Christian
but the Lord God loves them just the same
And you cannot do anything to protect yourself
from God,s wrath
Our Lord God is our high Judge

Repent and be Saved is the only way.
"Without becoming Christian" is not the answer that Christ is requiring. The plan of salvation will not be changed for anyone. God said I am the same today, yesterday and forever. Amen

Malachi 3:6 - For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Malachi 3:5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts. 6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. 7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

You know, many Christians will call me names and write me emails but I truly, truly believe that you are not in danger of God's wrath. The wrath of God is the focus of the old testament. Jesus died for us, thus satisfying the wrath of God. Even if you are not a Christian, God is not going to visit wrath on you. Sleep well and worry not.

Through the Roman Catholic Church, you can avoid Hell by living a sufficiently holy life. But Catholicism does fall under the Christian category, even though they are looked at with suspicion by most Protestant denominations. But that's about as close as you're going to get.
