Trying to buy one.
A pet shop is asking S$900 for a Timneh. I think it's a bit expensive.
I have seached SgAdsOnline but the birds need to import from Africa.
Appreciate any information that helps.

Thanks for all the given answers.

I have checked with the local government web site and it's kind of troublesome to import bird from overseas.

So, please only give info that can lead to any local breader or pet shop with such birds in Singapore.

Thank you so much.

Most Congo African Greys and Tinmehs go for about $750 - $950 depending on a few factors.

You have to do a lot of research first. Take at least a year before you make your purchase. Parrots are not pets, they are like family members that do not cooperate with you.

The country is LITTERED with people who give up their CAGs after about 2-3 years because they can't handle their parrots once sexual maturity.

Check out Serangoon North Avenue One. There are a lot of pet shops there are you'll see rows upon rows of African Greys (many of which are insane).

They are the most difficult bird to keep problem-free.. Make sure you are well-informed and prepared to handle them.
