Avalon is on the island of Catalina. You would need to get a bus from Rancho Cucamonga to Long Beach and then one of the boats to the island...not sure of cost.

The same one that goes to Catalina. Oh, yeah! It's safe. It has brand new windshield wipers. I am sure YOU won't have to worry about paying for it. I'll bet there's a LOT of people who would GLADLY pay your way. :)
