None of the older churches do. The rapture doctrine is bogus. It did not exist until the 1800s. Until then no one taught it.

Rapture is a term coined by Margaret MacDonald, a 15 year old Scottish girl in 1830 and made popular by a New Age minister starting in 1860.

The Lutheran religion dates back to the 1600s. It' s not exactly New Age like Mormons, Christian Scientists, Scinetologists, Pentacostals and Apostolics.

If you want to believe in the sayings of a 15 year old girl using a word not found in the traditional Bible, ok for you.

Just remember, those who follow the FALSE PROPHET get the mark of the beast upon them.

You're choice who you follow in this world

I follow Jesus.

Jesus never said the word Rapture.

Most traditional Lutherans (WELS, LCMS) do not hold to that doctrine, as it was never heard of by the church until the 1850's

Lutherans are usually pretty smart and well-versed in Holy Scripture. That's why they don't believe in it. They are smart...and they know their Bibles.

Smart people who know their Scripture don't believe in nonsense.
