I suggest you get a 2.5 in. dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. The Flowmasters are much quieter than the cherry bombs and flow just as well. This will keep you running great without legal entanglements. You can also consider QTP electronic cutouts which completely bypass the mufflers at the touch of a switch. It's great for running flat out since there is zero back pressure. But, be careful of the law!!

I had duel cherry bombs that ran right out the back. It was rolling thunder. So loud cops knew your name and had the top part of the ticket filled out already.
Do people a favor and get a turbo muffler, on the back side of the cherry bombs, and run it out the back end of the car.

It would be wise to replace with dual exhaust because then the engine will breathe better.Side pipes and or cherry bombs are nice, but will not pass inspection. At least in my state of New York they won't.You can check with your inspection station for your state.Thrush MFG. makes what is called 'Hush Thrush' in both sidepipes and mufflers. They are loud enough to be heard and quiet enough to pass most inspections.Good Luck.
