They *don't* explain it...they just say "God did it because the Bible can't be wrong"...and that's as far as their thought process goes.

Heres where the stupidity of the bible comes into play. Because not only was the earth populated by only two people, if you remember after the flood only noah and his family were left alive so they repopulated the earth too, that leaves NO room for any sort of ethnicity to develop. Everyone would be the same ethnicity.
Heres a little something extra, the guy under me says is evolution the only way the races came about are you that closed minded. Ha if you think that races came about AFTER there was only ONE race left in the entire world (according to the bible) then I'd like tp here your explanation on it, because all you did was bash the question, you didn't even attempt to answer it,

Matt, I gather from your comment that you don't believe in evolution? And you're calling all of the people that do "sheep"? We are actually the ones who question things. We don't rely on a book full of far fetched stories to teach us our history. Not to say there isn't a God. I'm not sure if there is, nobody can be 100%. I'm just saying that the Bible was written a long time ago by HUMANS, not God himself. The stories in it aren't meant to be taken literally, they teach lessons. Evolution happened and there is evidence to back it up.

It is a well received biblical belief that early humans had children of different skin color. Noah's son (Shem?) was referred to ask the "dark" one. Later on, when the Tower of Babel was being constructed God caused everyone to speak several languages so that they wouldn't be able to understand each other and continue to creation of a tower that was intended to bring men up to the heavens and be "like God." It seems only natural that the people with the same language would bond together... procreate together and, well... I'm sure you can follow where this story is going.

I do not know whose religion you are refering too, but according to God's word there is only one faith anyway. And that faith is simply to believe on and in the son of God. Some people may believe that they were evolved, but the bible tells me that I was created! Now to your question. The bible says that "for out of one blood, God made all nations" People were dispersed to different parts of the land a varios times like during the days of Noe, or doing the time of the Tower of Babel. As far as skintone, well if you live in Alaska, I don't think that you will have to worry to much about tanning, but if you live in Africa, a few years of 110 degree temperatures will surely tan you a little, don't you think? So it really is not silly religion, but the silliness of mankind trying to figure more out about God then he wants them too. The bible says that the foolishness of God is wiser than the wisest of men!

Instead of me explaining the impossible belief that somehow a black person came from a white person through the unpredicability of DNA, why don't you explain the very rational, easy to fathom magic trick where a human came from a monkey that only millions of years ago was simply chemicals on a rock. If you can believe an animal came from a rock, then relax.....a black person coming from a white person should be easier to swallow.

As people migrated to different parts of the world, throughout the centuries their bodies adapted to the various climates. If you and I were to live in Africa without the modern-day protections afforded (sunscreen, clothes), our skin would turn dark to protect us from the sun, and other bodily changes would occur.
