To the homosexual we are accused of homophobia. To the evolutionist we are stupid or closed minded. To the liberal we are out of touch with reality.

What if Christianity is really true, and all the liberal thinkers, evolutionists and homosexuals fail to get a grip on the truth in this lifetime and die in their sin and willful ignorance?

After death they will suddenly be in Hell wishing they had been more subjective in their thinking. Saddest thing of all is they will be punished time without end in a place of unrelenting sorrow and torment from which there is no escape.

Ten trillion years times ten trillion years will pass and they will not escape the judgment they chose when they decided to ignore Christians trying to love them out of their ignorance. They will beg for just one more chance to accept the truth but it will never be given.

Is personal opinion worth all that suffering? Anyone with a little sense would find out for themselves before they die.

I am a Christian that is tired of people asking my advice and not taking it, especially people that do not want to hear the truth.

I just leave them alone, and let the Lord deal with them. It is not my battle and I don't want to defend the Bible. It can stand all by itself.

Critics want to pass the blame and not see themselves as the problem. It is easier for them to say bad things about Christianity than to accept the truth. THat is what I believe and I hope I am not offending anyone, because God loves everyone and I don't what to judge.

Your question and statement opened my eyes a little bit more, that I have to pray more for those who don't believe and still love them.

Hmmm making me think..

OK what you said makes perfect sense if you are a believer, however I have always been good at exposing the other side of the coin no matter to which side i belong so here it is.

OK if what you believe is true and in the end they will all suffer, you are 100% correct in your analogy and of course nothing would be worth eternal damnation
but.... if you are in fact the one believing in the untrue one could say you have given up a lot of enjoyment in many ways because of your belief but in the end all you gave up is the only life you had for something that isn't real..

not saying your right or wrong but if you are going to point a finger and state they are wrong you should also be prepared to be wrong yourself....Lets

Actually I thought is was the other way around. It is the religious that resort to name calling. Or is it safe to say athirst and theist are guilty of doing the same thing?

Actually it is the none religious that is showing true love by raising the intelligence of the religious to become true participants in making this planet work. The religious will not look at their true history thus can not see where they are taking us again on this planet.

It is not about personal opinion. Still to this very day the religious hold the highest numbers of caused deaths on this planet. If all of us don't wake up the religious will be used to take this planet to brink of total annihilation. There is no God or Christ the is going to save this planet. It is up to man himself to change his course not a fictitious character made up to control the minds of the uneducated masses.

If the religious could look beyond their supposedly God inspired bible then maybe we can have an intelligent conversation that will lead to the success of our planet.

Are you open-minded, then what have you learned about yourself? Have you not ever wondered why "God" would denounce a group of harmony loving folks like the homosexuals? BTW - The original Bible scrolls said nothing derogatory about homosexuals. The 1611 English translation you call the KJB and others, don't even have the words "a wifes wedding bed" in the famous leviticus verse. The original text was not condemning homosexuality, it was condemning disharmony between a man and his wife. The Research Department of the Catholic Church recently stated that homosexuality was not a sin, and never has been a sin according the original Bible.

Do you allow the 1611 mistranslation of the Bible affect your attitude about homosexuals? well, do you?

I only resort to name calling when someone else starts it (to answer your initial question). But have you considered that maybe people feel a bit resentful toward Christianity for condemning everyone who disagrees with them to hell and because Christianity dismisses their beliefs as invalid? I mean, honestly, what do you expect? People are going to disagree and disagreement can get ugly. That's just the nature of things.

I have to be honest with you. After reading through your statements I have to wonder if you have ever really studied the bible yourself. It seems to me that you are simply parroting things you have been told by others that have a couple of texts attached. What if the things you have been told by others is a misrepresentation of the truth? Where will you spend eternity? Do you want to know the truth? Study the bible for yourself.

You know, I'm a Christian, and posts like this disturb me very much. You are absolutely right that people need to come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, but not because they'll have "fire insurance" that way.

How about telling them about the beautiful and loveable Person of Jesus -- His compassion and mercy for all those who are hurting. Talk about the peace and comfort of having a Friend who loves you so much that He was willing to die for you. Tell people about His gentleness towards those who weren't accepted by the "upstanding citizens" of the day.

He was and is a Friend to all those in pain, who are lonely, who cry out for justice in the middle of their struggles. You can't intimidate people into coming to Him, but you can certainly show them what a wonderful Person He is to have in their lives.

That is a good question. Your additional details are very true, and they reflect the lack of imagination and the lack of integrity of the critics. God will ultimately be the judge of their actions. Maybe then, they will realize the err of their ways. Just because you disagree with someone does not offer you the right to resort to name-calling or low-brow tactics.

Homophobia - created by suppressed homosexuals.

Creationism - fear from the Christian establishment.

Willful ignorance - a great example of modern Christianity.

Liberals - you're making a political statement now aren't you? Jesus couldn't care less.

I don't resort to name calling, I prefer to dissect you with reason. And personal opinion is worth it.
