Photo Editor of Office XP does not open JPG file. What is the solution?

The Microsoft Photo Editor in Office XP cannot open JPG file, even after associating it. The Error: Unrecognized File Format. What registry changes are required, to open JPG file in Photo Editor?

Try associating it to Picture and Fax viewer or MS Document Imaging just to see if it will try to open that way. Then associate it back.

Run the office xp setup
then click on repair or reinstall radio button
i think i will work .
