A a deist, you would likely see a white rabbit following close behind with a pocket watch chanting " I'm late " since both are fictitious to us.

Live well .... and listen to nature for God

YES.

It is my desire to be in the new earth with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and many more, as Jesus make it all as perfect as before Eden Matt.8:11,12;
we all have some work to do Rev.20:1-6,12,13; Rev.21:1-5; 2Pet.3:13; Isa.45:18; 65:17; 66:1,22,23; by the end of the 1000 years and the raised up or caught up to be with Jesus, come down out of heaven from God Rev.3:12;
Heb.12:22-24; ALL WILL BE MADE NEW.
ANY NOT SAVED WILL HAVE ONLY SELF TO BLAME.

No way! I'll be in my new resurrected body in my mansion Jesus went to prepare when He ascended into Heaven. And for all the people who said they hope they'll be left behind, read what's to take place on earth during the 7 yr tribulation period - NO ONE will want to be left behind! Jesus is going to turn this world right side up and purge it of evil with the 7 seal, 7 trumpet and 7 bowl judgements. Don't let your ignorance of the Word rob you of eternal life with your maker!!

If you are going on the basis of the Left behind series than--Nope--I am outta here!!! I am a major screw up but God loves me anyways and He's helping me work it out. I know who and whose I am. Thing is --after reading the left behind series I kinda think that it would be fun to be a tribulation saint. Well maybe fun is not the right word. But it does make me want to be more bold in my faith and who I am.

I'm ready to fly baby. I believe in God and have accepted Jesus as my personal savior. I have truly repented and turned from past sins. God is good all the time and all the time God is good.
I'd go right now. God knows my heart and even if I'm having an off moment he knows what my heart wants over my mind. I'm going. I sure wish you were to. It would be nice to meet you in the air! Its an open invitation to anyone who believes.

As a deist, why the hell would you believe in the Rapture?

2007-03-15 23:30:54 · answer #7 · answered by Anonymous · 0 2

No, and you wouldn't either. The word "rapture"
is not even in the Bible, and besides that, it just means "Great Joy", It does not mean that people will be caught up into the sky. So where did the Theologian get that from?

I certainly hope so. I don't think I would feel comfortable with people who were caught up in the rapture.

I'd rather just be stuck here with my like-minded and nice friends.
