Any day now, we are in for the long haul. Bush has enough power still to keep Congress from getting anything done, next election, Republicans will take congress, bring back the draft, invade the entire Middle East, and kill my friends. (sorry, the whole war enrages and scares me. I'm sixteen, and my friends and I will be among the first if the draft comes back.)

Didn't the Left tell everyone all thru 2004 and 2005 that Bush was going to invade Syria next ?
Will the Iran invasion have to be postponed untill after the Syria invasion ??
How is Bush's draft coming along ?
You remember, the draft that the Left swore that Bush was gonna start if he was reelected in 2004.

I'm betting even money, by this time next year, the Left will be swearing that Bush is gonna invade France within weeks !!!
There is no anti war movenment, there is a anti Bush movement.
Where was this supposed anti war movement when the last President was illegally attacking/invading :
Serbia
Iraq
Haiti
Afghanistan
Kosavo
Sudan
All done without either Congressional or UN approval.

We are not going to invade Iran. At least not in the foreseeable future. I personally believe that most of the neocons are kicking themselves because we invaded Iraq, and should have waited.
They do, after all, have a much stronger case to invade Iran. The problem is, we don't have the military strength to do it.
Look, people, allow me a brief rant. We are using National Guard troops to fight a war in Iraq that we are borrowing money from China to wage. If anyone wants to attack us, now's the time.
Now, having said that, I would not be the least bit surprised if Israel launched a nuclear strike, or a conventional one on Iran's supposed nuclear sites. I reckon that would be the beginning of WWIII, if not Armageddon.

We aren't. All of the war talk is nothing but media hype intended to improve ratings during slow news months.
The US strategy against Iran is political, economic and diplomatic strangulation.

I believe deep in my heart that if we evade Iraq it will end are time as a superpower or worst cause a nuclear war. We do not have the resources to take on the whole middleeast alone. I love this country but there is limits to what we can do. If we evade Iraq the world will turn against us. (even more)
