It is a 4 ohm sub in a single bandpass and i need a amp for it, links to websites where i can buy an amp would be nice

it sounds like you have a dual 2 ohm and its wired in series to give you 4 ohms out the box so i would get a 500 watt x 1 amp at 4 ohms checkout the sound storm amps they have good specs

I had two 12" alpine type r's with two rockford fosgate power ampliers hooked up one on each sub and it was just about as loud as my 15" memphis mojo I have now. So if I were you i would look into a amp that has about 500 watts rms rated at 4 ohms it will useally read something like 500 wattt x 4 ohm something along that line every place is different. But if i were you go with memphis car audio or at least rockford fosgate. Memphis car audio is more of a speciality amp and sub and are hard to find have to goto local shops to get it cant order it online. Anyways hopes this helps.
