After discussing my underwear at a laundry mat, with my lady friends, I started to get confused if what I had was ok or was I too old to even be asking. I'm am 38 years old and back on the dating seen, I switch between what feels comfortable with what I'm wearing. This new girlfriend might be the ticket and then with talking to my friends, I wondered if that first special night might come up "left of center" with the wrong underwear? Tighty whities or colored? Plaid or striped? Boxers or briefs? Does it even matter? All the ladies at the mat said “it matters”, but what is the right ones? Do I need to go out shopping for the right ones before I get down to business?

It's a personal preference but I like boxers....least fav's are white cotton ones, but all others are good to go. Most importantly though, I'd let things progress naturally with regard to "getting down to business" as it's easy to be too pushy. You'd hate to make her go running away, or so I'd presume.

Why should it matter to a "lady".??? It is what feels comfortable to the man wearing them, and I assume he is not wearing them for looks, when he drops his pants in front of a girl.
The girl should not worry what kind of garage he has, as long as the car inside is running. All the girls I dated didn't give a darn what I was wearing, they were more concerned about how fast I could get undressed.
I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing boxers, because they are for old grandfathers.

As long as their not babysh then its fine. I prefer a guy in boxers more then briefs, they also feel comfortable to wear too, lol. Good Luck!

Most women I know, including myself, prefer boxers or boxer briefs, but you have to wear what you like and are most comfortable in.

Boxer briefs for particular.. If i became with a guy that wore "tighty whities" i might might desire to make him stop donning those.. it rather is gross.. lol. yet what sucks is that me and my ex fiance chop up up 3 days in the past and that i extra clever no longer detect a guy that wears tighty whities.. I placed on boy shorts and occasional decrease underclothes... I hate thongs. I used to placed on thongs (like 5 years in the past) daily.. yet they have been given previous and that all of them started popping out with sexier underclothes.

Boxers look the best! Maybe go with a dark color, just because usually they look better, like maroon, navy or a dark green. NO TIGHTY WHITIES!!

I think they like boxers best . That's what I heard. I like them best for looks but, for comfort briefs.

congratulations on the dating! and YES sweetie, it matters! you have to go with the BOXERS! they are so sexy! it really doesn't matter if they're plaid, or striped, just get to the nearest department store and get some a.s.a.p! I promise, you'll be happy that you did! and remember to keep them below your belly button. when guys pull their boxers up too high and they come above the belly button, it doesn't look good, but just below it, that's super sexy!
