My fiancee has brain cancer. Recently, within the past few weeks or so, he has developed what look like pimples or insect bites on his body. He has 2 on his leg and one on the left side of his face and we think another one is forming on his stomach. His oncologist has suggested that it might be boils, but she isn't sure. Within a few days, the bumps turn from looking like a small pimple to being 1.5" in diameter, then the hole in the middle scabs and then pus comes out of it. We have no idea what these bumps are and don't know if it's from the cancer or not. Please help!!!

There is a form of malignant skin cancer that looks like a pimple, but they are much smaller than what you are describing.

It sounds like you are dealing with a sebaceous cyst, or a boil--and neither is cancerous. See a dermatologist, or try changing your diet--no pop, fast food, trans fats, processed sugar and eat lots of veggies and beans and whole grains.

I am dealing with a brain tumor too, and making headway with natural things. I'm sending this along--

Search for answers by looking outside of the medical field, in the area of alternative medicine. There are hundreds of methods to heal the body, and drugs only suppress the issue (not heal it). Most disease issues are internal because the blood carries toxins that accumulate in the body. The system needs to be cleansed (colon and liver especially), and given nutrition.

Cleansing the body is a method I've seen done many times with success and it doesn't matter how old you are. We must remove toxins. One strategy is detoxifying with herbs, water, and juice fasting. One must educate oneself.

There are many other good books about surviving this disease, and you should know about this option, even if you choose to go the traditional route with it's abysmal prognosis. Best of luck.

Get your fiancee's doctor to refer him IMMEDIATELY to a dermatologist- a skin doctor, to biopsy the boils and the solution oozing from them....and be persistent- you want this done yesterday.......

Good luck to you and your fiancee- I hope everything works out for both of you........

always remember if you do not like the answers you are getting from the doctors you have-- you can and definitely SHOULD go for a second opinion to a large cancer institute- please look into it- especially if his brain cancer was not completely surgically removed......CANCER INSTITUTES OF AMERICA- THEY ARE ALL OVER THE COUNTRY........

My teenage son had those on his body and I took him to urgent care. They will only get worse until you have a doctor take care of them. Do not pop them yourself, they will leave a gaping hole depending on the size. I'm not a doctor. Keep his clothes, bed, and bathroom clean so he doesn't get reinfected.

He really should see a dermatologist. Taking into consideration that he is already quite ill, you really should have a specialist check him out.
