Ok, so im taking drivers ed in may and will probably have my permit in june. 6 months after permit i get my real license =]
I will be 16. I need a good cheap first car. I live in Hammond LA . If you know something tell me! Also reccomend me some ? PLease

yeah i was thinkin a pickup. =] like id like to spend 1000 on the vehicle 2000 at most and then buy accessories w/ my money

Husband's answer as follows: Very basic, less bells and whistles, the better. UN-modified, nothing that your buddies tried to hot rod and assures you that it runs better than new. Four doors, Not cool enough? More friends can get in and cheaper insurance. Pay the extra cash to get it checked out by a mechanic BEFORE you buy. Should cost no more than 75 bucks. Don't make payments and don't buy anything older than ten years or younger than five. Take your time and
wait for your buddies to figure out they can't make the payments on their rides and buy them cheaper outright! I have had my first car for almost 20 years and still drive it to work and my wife married me because I made solid decisions instead of getting caught up in the moment. (she's HOT!) Enjoy your new found freedom and take it seriously.

Anything Honda or acura would be an awesome car. They last forever and are fun to drive.
