Tina, it is normal to feel that way for most people. It isn't social anxiety disorder. People are terrified of getting up in front of a judgemental group. Shaking, wobbly voice, whispering are all common when you aren't used to giving grand scale presentations. Just remember that no one cares what you say.... sorry, but it's true. No one will remember what you say. Any impression you make won't be long lasting if you are bad, but it can make a great impression if you are good. My debut was a talk for recruitment in front of 400 people in undergrad. I was shaking like a leaf, but people didn't notice that. They only heard what I had to say and the only ones that cared enough to remember were the ones that joined the group I was recruiting for. It is always worse than you make it out to be. Now, I could talk in front of thousands with no problem. You will get over it. You just need experience. In the meantime, no one will remember when you are finished they will just admire you for getting up there.

I would definitely go to the doctor if you are that nervous. You may have social anxiety disorder--or any number of other reasons why you are so nervous. You need to be diagnosed to find out what is going on. You may get medication, and/or you may start therapy--which is what will get to the root of your problem.

Be well :)
