I was recently prescribed a medication however I am leaving for Europe next week and might have to take this medication with me. I heard there was a new rule that you cannot bring prescriptions with you on the plane for international flights. Is this true? What can I do so I can be allowed to bring them with me?

Check with the carrier. The bag rule now applies: things like pills and liquid medicines are to be placed in a clear plastic bag so that the inspectors can easily examine them.

i think of as long as its prescribed medicine the airport or airline shouldn't make a fuss of it. And shop it on your hand bags as you comprehend you would be wanting it with you as in the journey that your suitcases wander off then you definately could be screwed.
