Islam. They are still upset about the whole thing and are full of hate. For muslims the crusade is not over. There are to many examples of this to list all of them. So heres a few. Kosovo, Bosnia, Middle eastern countries such as Iran.

They both are, isn't quite a bit of the animosity coming out of the middle east born of generations of the crusades' aftermath. Both groups still harbor old animosities and most of them couldn't even tell you where it comes from.

I think not Islam but the Arab people have fared worst. So much of their ancient, rich and beautiful history is lost to images of terrorists and fundamentalists. This culture played a critical role in the world several times and is seen as a dirty little haven of violence now. That is the saddest legacy of religious zealots and their belief in one true religion.

islam, because if person with a beard or a headscarf passed someone in the street the first thing mpst people think of is 9/11. and its sad. if one mand who claims hes muslim and he did commit this terrible attack or not does not mean all muslims in america should be rejected and looked down upon in society. islam teaches peace and some one who says they are muslim but goes and kills others for no reason does not follow the religion meaning they are not muslim they only say they are. i mean look at it this way are there not murderers who claim they are jewish or maybe even christian? well they are not because if you were jewish or christian you would be aware there is a higher power than the human power and they would not dare kill another person but if they dare say they believe in god and yet go kill an innocent soul they have no religion. in my sight all religions preach the same thing. THERE IS A HIGHER POWER AND WE SHOULD LIVE IN PEACE!

It affected both negatively. Crusades put a dark spot on Christianity's history, it also affected Muslims because so many Muslims were slaughtered.

The answer my friend is that it had the most negative affect on the name of Jehovah.
His name has been slandered for centuries and this has had a horrible effect on how his precious name is view.
Man does to man what man wants, what we do in the name of God, on both sides has either a positive or negative effect.

The christians killed thousands. they killed every muslims within the city of jerusalim,
