are there any new law for married couplles I heard a while ago that they were going to give married folks more money or a tax cut, i am not sure what its called.

There is nothing new to speak of...but when married filing joint you will be able to take a bigger standard deduction.

No idea what you're talking about. There's nothing new specifically for married couples in the way of general tax cuts.
