let him have his break, if you were meant to be then things will work out. and if you really love him his happiness and well being should matter more to you that your own. maybe he needs this.

If you too have been going out for a year and he says he needs a break He is trying either to see other people, some guys want to do something different before they settle down . You know experiment. Or maybe he is scared about getting to close to you and is scared of falling too much in love with you. If you think he really loves you and wants to take a break, he will come back to you. If he doesn't he's not worth it. I cant fully respond to your question b/c i don't know y'all but your heart should tell you to fight for him or let him go just don't be a nagger. hope this helps :)

I do believe I would tell him "Thanks! I think I'm due for a break as well". And bid him ado! You really care about this guy? Doesn't sound like the feeling is mutual, otherwise he wouldn't be asking for a break. Honey, he just said adios to you so move on and enjoy your life now while you can. It will go by quicker than you can blink an eye if you're not careful.

in my personal experiences, breaks never end well. they usually just dont want to be in a relationoship anymore, want to be free, although i dont know what your specific circumstance is. i had a bf for a year, we took a break, got back together for two months and then broke up for the same reason that we took a break.. u may just have to let it go. try to keep contact at a minimum, because it will be too hard to stay close. u cant try to be friends, but waaaay after you have healed from the break up.

The best thing to do is let him have his break.If he comes back you will notice a change for the best cause he will have realised what a good thing he had and will try is best at it,if he doesn´t come back...well it wasn´t meant to be.Meanwhile take good care of yourself,exercise,clean your teeth,get more attractive,that way if he comes back he will notice the change and apreciate you for it and if he doesn´t he will think of what an idiot he was when he sees all the guys chasing you.

When a person says they need a break,there is nothing you can do.If you cry and chase him,he will want you even less.I know your heart hurts,but just leave him alone.

If he said it, he means it. and you probably already gave him what he wanted anyway. Try caring about yourself more and concentrate on your life. Let him go.

boys are so funny when they say they want a "break". f*** that. Its either he wants you or he doesnt. teach him that he cant have his cake and eat it too. So if he doesnt want to be wit you, move on. Boy/Men dont realize what they got until its gone....so move on and make him suffer.
