I know it seems unfair, but it's the same for adults too. We have to do things we don't want all the time. Either our boss gives us orders, we we feel we HAVE to do something we don't want for the good of our family.

It would be nice to know how old you are. The best families are not democracies, they are authoritarian dictatorships. This works best for all involved. Children don't get to vote because they aren't able to comprehend everything that goes into a decision. The ability to do that (comprehend all the complexities) doesn't actually appear until you are in your twenties, because it takes that long for the prefrontal cortex (a part of the brain) to finish growing. Until then, you should have important decisions either made or overseen by others.
I do have to add this: I'm not unsympathetic, because I remember how frustrating it was. But it would probably make things easier if you figured out how to work within the system. It exists for a reason. Best wishes.

I think the real question here is are you playing sick to get out of a test or are you truly ill? The fact of the matter is this, life is in no way fair, your parents are responsible for everything you do or do not do, have you even tried to see things from their point of view? I know its not easy growing up, but some times there are things parents have to do that you may not know about or understand. If you trust them to take care of you and protect you from all the bad things in the world, then you should trust their judgement on the small things in life as well. Then again, you could just mention to them that you might not have done very well on your test because you were not feeling well.

First of all, nothing in life is "fair".
If life was fair, that'd mean that everyone would look the same, smell the same, have the same ammount of money, and life itself would be boring, and not worth living.
Just look at it as a gift, and take advantage of it, and become better than everyone else, and if you enjoy helping kids, then do so.
Education is very important for a child, encourage them to enjoy school, not hate it even more.

that is life. Adults have to go to work, even when they don't want to. They have to shop when beat tired so the kids can eat.. plus they have to go home and cook and do dishes and pack lunches, and put the kids to bed before they can finally crash to sleep themselves. Animals have to do things they dont' want to do. They have to sleep in the cold, hunt for their food (when there is something to hunts), or dig through snow for grass and water. They look at the other animals that are pets.. but the pets have to wait at home while everyone is gone, they have to ask to go outside to go pee, they get in trouble for being to happy and barking, or jumping up because they are exctied. They have to follow the rules. Plants have things they don't like. Like being cold, winter, days of sun with no rain until they die or someone stepping on them.
Life is made of pleasure and pain. Life is about balance. If you are made to do somethings as a child that you dont' want to do.. that is very good of your parents... that is teaching you how to handle life and the world outside of home

well, I have to get up every morning and clean house, cook dinner and run errands, when I worked I had to get up every day and go to a tedious job, so I could pay bills, my husband has to go to work everyday so he can take care of our kids and our home. You parents have to do all of the above to take care of you. Get the drift. All through life you have to do things you dont' want to and don't like to do, get over it. Quit being a spoiled immature child and accept that life will not always go your way, things will not be handed to you on a silver platter, and it will not be easy. Sick or not, life goes on, you don't always get to say what you want, and even when you do, it may not go your way. tough, part of life

because adults are stupid. ive heard it before, if it was good enough for me, its good enough for them. others are the principle of things, which is said when they cant think of anything else to say, or because i said so, which is a hitler type thing. we all have to do things we dont want to, its a fact of life. but when you hear, because thats the way it is, or , its always been like that, its because they have no explanation. another thing is they are so busy being little hitlers and issuing orders that they dont sit down to listen to what the kids have to say. they are so busy with their own lives that they dont even know their own kids. we will talk about it later, and later never comes.

in the real world when you are out of highschool imagen working at a real job and having a real family.
you can't miss important meeting unless you want to have no electricity or food.
life isn't fair but you need to be strong.
i've had times in my life when i get so madd but i totally regret it later on..you will learn.

Wait...I don't get the question. Kids shouldn't go to school if their sick....and what about voting? If they are voting....why wouldn't everyone get to vote? And what are they voting on?

Because parents are looking out for kids and see things that kids don't. Also, there are too many times when a kid cries wolf
