I know what your getting at and it is a noble thought, but this
life is only a mirage created by our mirror self for a training exercise and it can easily be made saner by simply deeming it to be so. That is the most fun truth of all, that when you put the fears behind you this life becomes a playground and everyone little children having fun.

Well, I don't know what to expect from heaven but I think it will be something that we understand to be what it is...maybe not a real place, and maybe not like our experience here.

I loved the movie "What Dreams May Come". Even as a Christian I embrace its ideas and some of them do not agree with typical Christian teaching. Both the book and the movie (which are very different) gave me a lot to look forward to.

Ok so to answer your question about making earth as heavenly as we can?

Love one another. There is no hate in heaven.

Related, FORGIVE ONE ANOTHER. This is because we can't be perfect here, as we will be in heaven. Forgiveness is the only way that I personally can stomach imperfection and sin.

Take care of the earth You can't call a failing planet heaven.

Do your best. Our abilities will be maximized in heaven. Again, we can't be perfect here but we can try and until then God has to make up the difference...still you should care about doing your best.

Be creative. Our imaginations will be maximized in heaven. And creating things...functional items, crafts, meals, solutions to problems, all these things...are a reflection of the God who created US.

Be grateful and optimistic. There will be nothing in heaven if not thanks and praise.

The only way to make this planet a heaven is get the people to realize we collectively make or break this earth. The majority of the people must learn that actions and intentions carry consequences to the outcome of our fate.

The police, the soldier, the politician and the religious must understand that actions will create cause and effect ripples of destruction when we act against the common good for the planet and its people.

Unfortunately humans only learn through great pain. It will take the destruction of this planet to make the masses realize the depth of true evil. Lack of education, over population, and the use of warfare will poison this world and the planet will fight back with millions of human deaths in the end.

It is then through great suffering the people will wake up.

We can try praying Jesus famous prayer.

Our Father, which art in heaven
Hallowed be thy name

Thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven

Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever
Amen
IF WE ALL PRAYED THAT PRAYER IT COULD BE A BETTER WORLD

I am sorry but I do not believe in a God or in a Heavan. If there was a God, Earth wouldn't be as messed up as it is. Or as George Carlin says it best " God doesn't give a crap " .

It's simple.
Keep heading the direction we're going.

Heaven doesn't exist and we're already half way to annihilation as it is. We'll be just like Heaven one day.

We can start by treating everyone with respect for their person and their values and beliefs even if they are different from our own.
