I have a 91 Ford Taurus. Yesterday it died on me. I was able to start it again ,but when I did the battery light stayed on. What should i do?

check to see if your belt is on and get your alternator checked

also those cars have ignition switch problems that can cause this try wiggleing your key a little to see if it goes out

Yes, it is apparent that the alternator should get tested.But these cars have an external Voltage Regulator that's usually the problem.It is a small box looking thing mounted on the fender well by the battery.It is simple to replace and inexpensive to buy.

Husband says that your trade-in light is on.
