No. 10lb weights should not stunt your growth at 15 as I am sure you lift things that are heavier. Rigorous and heavy lifting can stunt or alter your normal growth pattern however as your muscles are still developing.

No, that won't hurt you. The problem with kids lifting is that the use of heavy weights can damage the growth plates on bones. Ask any doctor or knowledgable professional. One of the responses here refers to a wrestling coach's opinion which is either mistaken or was misunderstood. Have fun.

Of course not. Lifting weights is one of the best ways to increase bone mass as well as improve muscles. Don't overdo it and hurt yourself, but don't worry about it stunting your growth.
Have you ever seen Lou Ferrigno? Weight lifting sure didn't stunt his growth.

im 13 and im on the wrestling team and i lift weights and my coach who is also a health teacher told me that all those stories about weights stuntin your growth are a bunch of bulls**t. he'd know best being that hes not only a sports coach but a health teacher.

Nah man, they shouldn't stunt your growth.
I've watched a television program of a person that's been working out since he was a little tiny kid, and he's super strong.
10 pounds wouldn't harm you not one bit.
