Umm....yeah. Watch the news. That's what the murderers say anyway. I don't read all those religious texts so I couldn't tell you for sure if it those religions really support that but people sure do use it as an excuse.

Most religions have killed in the name of their god, including Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. The followers of those religions don't like to admit that they follow something that is used in that manner, but it has and it is even as we speak. One must lie to ones self in order to not admit it. It's the equivalent to sticking ones fingers in ones ears and shouting,
"I'm not listening to you. I've never killed anyone for my religion and no one else has either."
over and over.
It has happened. Religion is EVIL.
And to those who want to say that "Christianity isn't a religion. It's a relationship with Jesus." will not mind if their church looses its TAX EXEMPT STATUS then will they? After all, one doesn't need it for just a relationship. Make no mistake Christianity and belief in Jesus is a RELIGION.

Extremist Christians and Muslims, to name a few. Neither religion endorses murder, but some members have extremist views (terrorists) and act out what THEY believe to be the will of God.

alot of people murder in the name of god.
alot of people murder because they felt like it,
alot of people murder because of revenge.
and alot of people murder as a situational thing.
bottom line. alot of people murder.
but there are people within some religions that approve of murder just as some outside of faith approve of it. just because someone has a view doesn't change their stance as a human being.
people kill, we all have fallen short to the glory of god (Romans 3:23).when people go to war. it is killing, not muder,
directed civilian casualty is murder. not troop against troop.

Islam does this all the time. Car bombs. People rigged up with explosives. This is encouraged in radical Islam and those that do it are revered for their "selfless" acts done in the name of Allah. Doesn't the Koran say to kill anyone who is not Muslim? I think so. There are probably others too but this one is the most obvious. Very sad.

Yes. That is why I do not follow any religion, I follow Jesus. He warned us that there are going to be a lot of bad things done in the name of God, and He was right. : )
