I wanted to know if a letter that I snet today that was picked up by the mail man will arrive to my uncle on saturday or tomorrow. Will it have tomorrow's post mark on it? Thanks for your help. And other thing I put two first class stamps on it. Will it arrive tomorrow or on Staurday? Will it have been postmarked by tomorrow's date March 16? It just has to travel form Salinas CA to Davis CA. Thanks!

It is pretty hard to tell. If you really want mail to get to it's destination tomorrow, then use an overnight service. If it would be NICE to get it there by tomorrow, then drive to the major post office in your area and drop it in an INSIDE mail slot.

If you have an afternoon route, your mailman should still get it to the sorting station on the same day, and you should be getting a "today" post mark.

Experience is the best teacher

Good luck

If you mailed it today it will be postmarked today.
Since it's a first class letter it will get there within 2 days.

I know because my dad works for the post office.

It will be postmarked today. As soon as the letters make it to the facility they ship from (same day) they are postmarked. So I would definitely think it would arrive no later than Saturday.
