My Republican friends tell me they miss playful evenings in the showers, the smell of man-azz in the morning, being able to sell themselves for candy bars, and making new friends in the african-american community.

I used to go to a low security prison for a state contract job I had. I liked the people that worked there, the women staff members I dealt with didn't put up with any kind of nonsense, and I learned valuable things on how to treat people.
I learned that no matter what you think of convicted felons, they are still people, and some want to rebuild their lives, although most end up going back, it's nice to hear of the few cases that actually end up making it.

Stamping out those license plates. Good food. The comfy cots. All the tattoos. Chatting with the gaurds. The quiet times in my cell. The extra-fine uniforms.
