First off, I do think its acceptable for you to dance with your son during that dance....if he will do it..hehe.....What about "What a wonderful world" by Louis Armstrong? I used that to dance with my mom last saturday at my wedding....its a good happy song and its only like 2 and a half minutes long. Its a good sont though.......or you should check out "My Wish" by Rascall Flatts...its a longer song that has words that are appropriate.

The song i don't know but I think its acceptable for you to dance with your son or get a family friend to dance with you. I can understand your mother-in-law wanting to dance with her son. It's a special moment during the wedding.

Depends on how old your fiances' mum is.
I would pick an appropriate song that was popular around her time. I will be coming up with the issue soon as well although i do have three brothers and three older sisters. If i was to pick a song to dance with my nine year old son it would have to be

If I were you, I'd make your dance with your son a seperate & equally special dance. I think it's a lovely idea.

I really like the song "The Prayer" by Andrea Bocelli (or Celine Dion) for a mother-son dance...very appropriate.

Here's a site that has songs for the groom and his mother. http://12songs.com Usually when the groom dances with his mother, they are the only 2 dancing. Maybe for the dance you would be doing with your father, you could dance with your new "father"-in -law. You might find a song that would be appropriate at this site. http://www.ultimatewedding.com/music/ This site gives you music for everything from the cake cutting to the garter removal.

Just got married last weekend and we were struggling with the same thing. We decided with the song "Blessed" by Elton John for my mother in law and husband to dance to. I think it was a great choice, not too sappy or sad - hope this helps, good luck!

you could have it be a mom son dance also you can have two separate ones if you want. The song we are using is My Wish by Rascal Flatts. I don't know if you like country or not but thats our choice. CONGRATS!!!!!
