Because the followers of Jesus have brought nothing but peace to the world. The peaceful crusaders, where followers fo Jesus skipped to the holy land throwing out flower petals along the way. Only christianity and Islam are actively trying to convert the world. The rest are not missionart religions. Very few conflicts today can truly be called religious conflicts, in that usually only 1 side is fighting for religious reasons, if at all. Peace is an equilibrium, which means it is untenable. A slight push in any direction will lead to war. What is peace anyway? Was there peace between WW1 and WW2? If so, then is there peace between 2 battles in the same war? How can one define peace? If I don't attack but at the same time don't stop others from attacking, is that peace? As long as there is man, there will be conflict.

Democracy is the only solution to the Holy land. Free election and written constitution one state for all the people of the Holy land Jews ,Muslims and Christians. One man on vote is the answer to wars and killings.

Sorry full stop but no the only solution will come from within oneself not from religion. Religion is bound by it's principles and has many contradictions.
Maybe one day we will learn tolerance on mass but until that days comes (maybe not in our lifetime) just do your bit that's all you can do and has Jesus is a part of religion then he cannot help (if indeed there is such a being).

Haha...funny comment at the end there.
Anyhow, I think a good start will be when Palestinian mothers value improving their childrens' lives more than they value them as tools for 'martyrdom'/jihad. If they encouraged their children to grow up to become educated, humane and successful adults (as all Israeli mothers do) instead of becoming some teenage-tools of jihad against the 'Zionists'/Jews, then I think we might have had some progress in the peace department.
Here's a relevant article:

As Golda Meir once said, 'Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us.' This still rings true today.
