Okay, here's a key problem solver for you.
Hydrogen + Oxygen = FAT BURNING
You want to drink nothing but water, and lots of it. For every 100 pounds you weigh, drink 2 quarts of water a day so you get plenty of Hydrogen in your body.
You must also exorcise often, whether it be running, biking, swimming, weight lifting, stretching, or even walking. You must get that blood pumping, and lots of fresh clean oxygen running threw it.
When Hydrogen, and Oxygen are mixed like that, you can kiss fat goodbye.
The number one thing is to be persistant, and don't give up. Don't expect results the first few days. You have 4 months, so check for results each month to see your progress.
You can also watch what you eat. Say goodbye to Mc Donalds, or any other junk food, and start eating healthy foods. Fruits, salads, etc...

The easiest way to lose weight is to simply burn more calories than you consume. Eat less, move more. It really is that simple. Eat smaller portions, and eat slower so you realize sooner when you're full. You don't have to clean off your plate. Avoid between-meal snacks, or if you can't resist, make it an apple or carrot sticks instead of potato chips or a candy bar.
That being said, losing weight too quickly is not only not safe, but you're more likely to gain it back. Sixty pounds in 17 weeks or so is pushing it (that's a half-pound a day, every day!). Not only are you risking your health, you're setting yourself up for failure by setting a goal that will be extremely difficult to reach. For your timetable, you're probably better off starting with a goal of maybe 20 to 30 pounds and seeing how it goes from there. Good luck.

You can't, safely. Ideally you should only be losing a maximum amount of 5-6 pounds per month. Try something like Hip Hop Abs and it can help. South Beach Diet helped, but the weight will come back unless you seriously make a commitment. Go to http://www.3fatchicks.com. It's a serious weight loss community...no gimmicks, just a bunch of women wanting to lose weight. To lose 1 lb, you need to burn off or take in 3,500 LESS calories...to do that you can figure out what you need per day to maintain your current weight, and subtract 500 calories...then watch all the calories you intake...make sure you're taking in 500 less per day...or burn off 250 and take in 250 less instead of 500 every day. You'll lose 1 lb per week this way. It's the safest way to go about it.

you cant. and if you do - its gona come back and bring some more.
you have to find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and thats how much you need to lose weight the healthy way.
8 glasses of water a day
5-8 servings of fruits and veggies a day
portion control - 5-6small meals a day instead of 3 big ones
cardio 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

You must factor in how much you weigh to begin with. Large people can lose more weight quickly.
A friend of mine was too ashamed to join the local weight watchers, so she joined the online one. Now she recommends www.hungrygirl.com. Since November she has lost 75lbs.

You should be careful if you use the Atkins... it can raise your cholesterol giving you a high chance for heart attack or stroke... best to eat fruit and veggies not bacon and cheese all the time

Get 120 minutes of cardio and 120 minutes of strength-training (like yoga or pilates) each week. No more fried, sugary, starchy, high carb foods! There you have it.
