I would not. The birds will generate enough heat. If they get too warm it will cause the eggs to die.

Cockatiels are wonderful parents and will do everything necessary to care for the chicks. Putting a light bulb inside the cage will disturb the birds and they may quit nesting. The chicks hatch every 3-4 days and the bigger chicks keep the smaller ones warm after there are about 3 in the nest. Before this, both parents take turns sitting in the box and will still do so afterward. Cockatiels like a sunny room but don't keep in direct sunlight.

No! The mother will be in the nest sitting on the eggs a lot. That is her way of keeping them warm. Now once the babies hatch, you will need to keep them very warm then, but there is a multiple ways to do that. I had a cockatiel before and I never used a light bulb in my nesting box.

Trust me, the birds will keep the eggs/chicks warm enough. If you put a light bulb of ANY wattage in there you will burn your birds, cook the eggs, and more than likely cause a fire killing your birds.

Please, go buy a cockatiel book and learn how to raise chicks and breed cockatiels. Call your vet and learn to handfeed ASAP.

You really need to do your research.
