I missed it and I need to know how far behind I am.

Maybe some penalty drinks will bring me up to speed?

On a more serious question note, I keep wondering: If you join Christianity because you're hedging bets on the afterlife, won't the Xian god know that you're not truly being honest with him? I mean, you're not actually BELIEVING in God, you're just saying you do in the hopes that you'll get a "get out of hell free" card. It seems like the only way for Pascal's Wager to work is with a god who doesn't care overly much about sincerity. How does THAT work? o_O

You need to toss back about 5 gallons of 100 proof hard liquor, 'cause the game started a while ago and there have been TONS of Pascal's Wager questions.

In one version of Pascal's Wager, if you play along you'll be given the "gift of faith" somewhere along the way.
In the drinking game version, if you toss back enough you'll get to the point where anything makes sense, whether it's sincere or not.
Besides, the god in question is mainly concerned about your conformity to a creed based religion. Not a matter of sincerity, but only a matter of how much you can swallow before your stomach revolts.

We've all been drunk (or wanted to be) a few times, don't bother trying to catch up, someone will ask another question in about 20 minutes anyway. That would be why it is the stupidest reason to be Christian but it still appears all day, every day.
