How do i use wireless internet of a cellphone?

I wanted to buy a laptop and I want any information how to use the internet while im not at home, like of my cingular cellphone?

and also what is bluetooth?

You can buy a GSM NIC card for your laptop from Cingular. Maybe you seen the Sprint ads on TV with the cowboy slapping the bleep out of the other cowboy? That's an add for Sprints version of that.

Bluetooth is a VERY short range wireless, it's what is used between your cellphone and those STUPID looking headphones that dorks have in their ears all the time.

You can get bluetooth on your PC for a mouse/keyboard or to communicate with a PALM or cell phone.

With bluetooth on your PC you might be able, with a bluetooth phone - to access the Internet via the cell phone. I'm not sure how that would work?

I have a bluetooth phone w/Palm T/X that also supports bluetooth. I can type text messages on the palm and send through the phone using bluetooth.

internet for cingular is called media net. these come in data plans-9.99(400 messages and 1 megabyte of internet..not reccommended if ur going to use it a lot) and 14.99-the best deal(1000 text messages and 5 megabytes of internet).......Bluetooth is an industrial specification for wireless personal area networks (PANs). No. there's a regulation (a minimum of in California) that when a prisoner calls out, the guy on the receiving end has to hearken to a message that declares "you're receiving a decision from a penal complex inmate," and then the guy has to settle for the call until now any speaking can ensue. form of like the way you will desire to declare "specific" to settle for a convey at the same time call. So the penal complex telephones are set as much as play that message (to whoever the inmate calls calls) whilst they're calling out. i won't think of that any inmates would ever be allowed to have cellular telephones. the comparable with the internet. both your laptop and your cell phone have to have blue tooth technology..then you will be able to send the internet signal to your cell phone...

Also you need to have some type of wireless router to send your internet signal to the lap top...or you can connect your laptop directly to the computer..then it will send the signal to the phone...
