I'm a Christian, and I am getting annoyed by the negativity that some folks are showing here about these questions. Isn't there enough bitterness and rancor most of the time without us having to ruin one of the truly wonderful evenings to ever happen here in the R&S forum?
I, for one, have had a great time finding out more about the regulars here. And it's been great to see everyone acknowledging that we are all just human beings with interests and goals -- not some "enemy" on the other side of the debate.
Kudos to those who asked the questions and those who took time to say the things that they appreciate about others. I know they sure made me feel good.
Edit:
Kallan, I think you've done something wonderful here tonight. Thank you for thinking of this.

Oh Gandolf, alas I did not read the comments...I just read what Kallan wrote and then clicked to see who it was. I think its horrible that people would make bad comments about something that was so very nice. I learned a lot about others here.

I started this because of a rude spammer who was trying to slander others.. it took off and made people feel good, so I've kept it up. If some don't get it, then too bad. Report me. I don't care.. it had the desired effect.

I'm actually enjoying those posts. It's a good way to get to know who's who. I think there are those out there who will complain about anything and flame any question asked.

If you or any I had met could keep the standard you now procure, perhaps I also would respect it. I didn't answer the question of which you speak anyways.

I just skipped over them because I thought someone was just having a par-tay!
Now Gandalf - why does your question read "christians and others...."
why not simply "hey people!"
peace to you

I have enjoyed these posts greatly. Of course I was jumping in during the commercials on South Park. Did you know God is bi-curious?

When we obtained our frontal lobes and abstract reasoning, there was one additional mutation that was thrown in for "good measure"????
I have postulated that it was "Reference point W". Rather than tell you what it was, or what I think it was, Please guess what that mutation was, and please e-mail me your guess. (I make no claim that it is a mutation, I just guess that it is a mutation.)
Clue: It relate directly to your above observation, and the very subject of your question.
2nd clue: This phenomenon is evident and alive and kicking regardless of your religion or non-religion. Regardless of your occupation or other field of endeavors. In 63 years of my life, I have never seen anyone who did not evidence this mutation.
3rd clue: Robots, even sophisticated robots, do not have any signs or imitation of this mutation.
