what i mean is this " have no fear in the face of your enimies, be brave and upright so that god may love thee, always speak the truth even if it leads to your death, safeguard the helpless" if i live by these principals surely i have earned a place in heaven have i not?

According to the Bible, we cannot 'earn' a place in Heaven or God's forgiveness. His forgiveness is free through repentance. There is only ONE way to Heaven and that's through Jesus. His death paid for our sins and His resurrection defeated Satan and spiritual death.

There's only ONE way to Heaven and to God and that is thru His Son Jesus. If you truly believe and love the Lord God, you will abide and believe in His Word, no matter how much it does or does not make sense. This is FAITH. In as much as many people make up their own rules and guidlines which leads to humanism (the sin of the worldly flesh especially today), we need to abide by Our Heavenly Father's guidelines He gave us to live by-- His Holy inspired Word, the Bible. Don't try to totally depend on your limited human understanding - if you do, you'll always live in a sea of doubt. Pray to God thru Jesus for an open heart that leads to an open mind and a personal relationship with Jesus. Repent and be willing to be changed into a new creation. With this, the Holy Spirit indwells you and you will see with the veil lifted from your eyes and your softened heart will accept The Lord unconditionally. You wll know and understand what unbelievers cannot comprehend. Let go and let God.

Jesus was asked what must I do to inherit the kingdom of heaven Jesus answered that he needed to believe in the Lord and be baptisted.
Jesus wanted him to sell all he had and give it to the poor. The young man walked away and Jesus was sad. Being a good person, following the ten commandments or the Golden Rule will not do it.

Yes, you would think so, but according to the Bible, Jesus said that He is the only way to get into Heaven. If you believe in the Bible and you believe it's God's Word, you don't have the option of picking and choosing which parts you want to follow and which ones you don't. We are asked to put our faith in God and His Word regardless of whether it makes sense to us. He also said (where I can't remember, but I'm sure someone here can help) that we know only a very tiny fraction of all there is to know about how and why everything works the way it does.

You can't "earn" a place in Heaven. That can only be purchased by the blood of Christ who "earned' the right for you to be there. In response to your question, why not believe in Jesus, that is what He asks us to do to get to heaven. Why do you have to come up with your own way?

No one is tainted can go to heaven, sure you can go to heaven believing in God the father, but then you have to be pure and holy, the God the Father sent His only Son cause He knew we have weakness, we are human, He knew that us alone without Jesus will never have a chance to go to heaven, with everything that is going on around us right now it will be impossible, not only you have to deal with earthly temptations but also the evil ones. Because the Bible says He is the Way. The Old Testament . Noah's Ark and New Testament -Jesus " The Messiah " Ark saved people from drowning, Jesus saves both body and soul.

Since God is the one who rules heaven, you need to come to Him based on HIS criteria, not your own.

jesus taught his word... so if u dont believe in jesus, since he is one with god in the trinity, then u partly dont believe in god
i mean, you can be buddhist and go to heaven, all u gotta do is live a good, loving life,and give to the poor. focus on those and pray a few times a week and ur golden
