No. In effect. he's treating you like you are one of the kids. Is he your father or your husband?

It depends....do you have a history of going behind his back and letting the kids do stuff that goes against a decision the two of you have made? If you've given him reason to not trust you, then it is more important to protect the kids than to give you the password, especially if you have a hard time telling the kids "no."

No, good parenting means that the parents work hand-in-hand to teach the children to become good people. If you teach them, but dont show it, the whole point of parenting sort of goes down the drain unless your kids miraculously become perfect children even with bad parenting, which is unlikely. I suggest you guys talk about this and agree to agree.

hmm.. Its not right i think..
Wel.. i don think a password is necessary to log on to the Net..
My dear... if ur kids wants to do a mistake, they will do so even if u are going to tie them up. Get it? wats the point of puttin a password wen ur kids can simply do it behind your back by surfing the net elsewhere and they can tel u that theu have extra lessons at school..?? U should let them grow up..
I saw my brother watching Porn in the net.. Then.. my mother, younger sis and i talked to him abt the bad and good of "it".. at least he have some knowledge in it.. he knows the limit to wat he is doing..
(i really hope uunderstand wat i am saying)
Be a friend to ur kid. Don't be a principal!!

No, it's not right! Unless of course you're addicted to Internet porn and poker sights I don't see what kind of reason he would have not to give you the password.
I would be pretty irritated if that was done to me. I think you should talk to him about it, and tell him it isn't right, you are his partner and his equal, not his inferior.

Nope. He is relegating you to child status. I would be very miffed if my husband did this to me. He sounds extremely controlling. Perhaps it is something you should discuss with him?
