Currently there are no state income tax brackets for Michigan. Instead, MI state tax will be 3.9% of federal income tax liability.

It does not matter what state you live in, the rate for your income level is the same.
It is the state taxes that vary, Montana being a high one and Washinton having no state tax at all.
Some states have income and sales tax (like Idaho), some just income (like Montana) and some just sales tax (Washington).

Depends on your income level ( goes up the higher you go)
Ask your payroll department .
