who can teach me a step by step guild to how to dl a youtube video cause when i open the youtube video using the firefox explorer, it says about javascrpt not turned on and older version of flash player when i already have installed the latest and also checked that the script is turn on....
i tried to click on the video downloader and downded a video but then i cant open it using the fiv player....
so sum1 pls tell me the step by step guild to open the video and also covert it to formaats that is about to fir into my handphone...ty

allright step by step
1-open a video on youtube.com
2-click on the button that says video downloader on your statue bar (bottom right)
3-a window should pop up and it should have a picture saying download on the left, click on it will ask you where to save it
4- when you save it, do so with a .flv extension
now you should be able to open it using an flv player
i prefer to use a download manager when downloading stuff from internet, but that's all up to you

Open in IE and try Windows Media Player
and a Download manager like DAP81 Star eetc.

i have this problem before..
heres what u got to do:
put your "get_video.htm" (im assuming this to be the file name)or video file to drive c:\, this will be easier for you to rename the file
then run cmd; this will launch command prompt
so your video is at your drive c:\ just rename it to video_name.flv
syntax example
c:\ren get_video.htm what it is to burn.flv
you can't rename this via windows! use dos rename command ok
