Steamed crab legs!!!! They're easy. Just put a couple of inches of water with some garlic seasoning in the bottom of a big pan and put a steamer basket in the bottom. Steam the crab legs for about 45 minutes. Make some rice to go with it. A salad with strawberries and baby spinach leaves and a raspberry vinaigrette. A turtle cheesecake for dessert. If you can't make one, buy it. She'll appreciate the thought even if you couldn't make it. (I know they're time-consuming) Tasty Meal!!!!

OK ! now you want a killer easy spaghetti recipe??go buy some Italian sausage 1 lb. then get a medium onion, clove of garlic, and a jar of fairly good spaghetti sauce not ragu or one that comes in a can...Classico or such...Now find some basil pesto. then make your way to the pasta section and find yourself some thin spaghetti or Angel hair pasta. You will want to use extra virgin olive oil for this but if you can't then use vegetable oil....I use mushrooms so if you want them then get fresh a good hand full is enough...Brown the Italian sausage in a large fry pan do not over brown just so there is no more pink.Make sure you break it up into little pieces use a fork and be patient you don't want huge chunks...now take the meat out and put it in a bowl or such and leave the drippings in the pan but only 2Tbls. no more.Dice your onions.mince the garlic and add to the drippings mushrooms too.saute until translucent.I use 1\2c. of vermouth \12c. water. add this to the onion, reduce to 1\2.you can skip this step.it does make this sauce fantastic.ok now add 2 large spoon fulls of pesto your spaghetti sauce add the sausage let this simmer on low.for about 15min.stirring frequently so it doesn"t scorch.boil some water in a large sauce pan with about 2 tbls. salt.rolling boil.add a good handful of pasta and stir so they dont stick together brin back to a full boil and reduce heat boil untill done to the bite al dante drain into a collander ..add our sauce to the pasta and there ya have it the best spghetti ever add fresh grated parmeson donot salt this as it probably will be plenty salty as is.Y ou may add other ingrediants to this as you wish ...I won 50.00 for this sauce ...And my son who is 19 loves to make this and he's always adding new stuff all the time Try this you will be surprised....LUCK

Pasta Puttanesca ( the Madame's Pasta ) Recipe #176435
I would rather have a plate of this over spaghetti anyday. In the absence of a tomato sauce... the flavors really stand out. This dish originated in the red light districts of Italy when the ladies of the night needed a quick and cheap meal after a long nights work "at the office."
by Pot Scrubber
2
servings
time to make 45 min 15 min prep
1/2 lb spaghetti
1 (14 ounce) can Italian tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon sugar
4 tablespoons flat leaf parsley
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/4 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon anchovy paste (optional)
2 tablespoons black olives, minced
2 tablespoons green olives, minced
1 tablespoon capers
3 green onions, chopped
3 ounces red wine
parmesan cheese
fresh basil leaves, chopped
1. Sautee onions, garlic, and pepper flakes in the olive oil for about two minutes until fragrant.
2. Add tomatoes and half of their juices, sugar, wine, fresh parsley, olives, capers, anchovy paste,(or anchovies)and Italian seasoning.
3. Bring to a boil and simmer about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally, and adding more reserved juice if it becomes dry. Break up large chunks of tomatoes but please leave a chunky consistency, we're NOT making spaghetti!
4. While this is simmering, prepare spaghetti until done and drain.
5. Sauce should be ready now so combine pasta and sauce and toss well.
6. Top with parmesan cheese and fresh basil.

See the flower in the recipe?
Don't forget to stop by the florist. You will be glad you did!
As for that salad, you can probably get away with a bagged mix for that from the grocery store.
Bon Appetit!

I would roast a chicken with veggies. Very easy and always comes out elegant and delicious. Just put the whole chicken and your fav veggies in a roasting pan and brush with melted butter and herb mixture every so often until done. Something chocolate for dessert to be sure. You sound like a keeper for a boyfriend. Have fun!

It's hard to go wrong with chicken or pasta. They're both easy to make. Find out what kinds of spices she likes, find a recipe for a sauce that has those spices, and cook that. Unless you really know what you're doing, buy the dessert from a bakery.

Make a nice meal for the two of you. Make sure everything is perfect.
Dessert: A nice fondue that she can lick off your fingers!
Meat: Some kind of nice meat, not any off the bad stuff, and maybe watch the food channel for some other tips.
Appetizer: Garlic Bread, very warm, really makes her think you put your whole effort into it.
TIP: bake cookies so it smells like it when she enters
(give them to grandma or something)

BBQ and have a pic-nic by candle light or low light. Do it in the living room by a lit fire if you have a fireplace. Winter is the best time for BBQ, thye flavors really come through.
