The risperdal was prescribed to eliminate my mania ( i had a lot of thought broadcasting) i might be a bit co-dependent

Risperdal is an anti psychotic while prozac is an anti-depressant. I have been on both for years and they work very well for me without any discernible side effects other than a lowering of sex urges and libido. But I'm an old man so that doesn't matter.

Your mentioning "thought broadcasting" makes me wonder if you're not schizophrenic as that is a delusion of many schizophrenics.

The anti-depressant should help you with any depression you may have. It takes a while for it to "kick in" and it is not a "magic bullet"; you have to put some effort into stopping any negative thinking you may have developed associated with your depression.
