What is it about being a Christian do you like best? Also, when you became a Christian, how did accepting Christ as your Saviour change your life? I'd like answers from only Christians please, I am interested in people's real life experiences. To all non-Christians, I appreciate that you have different points of view and some have strong opinions against Christianity. But what I am really interested in are the personal experiences of believing Christians. I am a Christian myself and it is something I would really like to hear about. Thank you for understanding.

Finding Jesus was hard. I went through a lot of pain and suffering before I found Him and it was well worth it. Jesus is not, however, only the God for the weak and suffering. Jesus gives me strength when I am strong and gives me the power and confidence to believe in myself and achieve great things through His power. I have found Jesus to be a beacon of light in my dark times and a rock to stand on in my moments of glory. I also look to the Lord when I know I am doing wrong and ask Him to help me get back on the right path. Jesus, the Lord God and the Holy Spirit help me in these 3 ways.

Hey, how's it going?

The greatest thing about being a Christian is God. I can't really be more specific. The love of God, the presence of God, the favor from God, the blessings of God, and the acceptance of God, to name a few. I am constantly reminded of my own weakness and dependence on God, and His grace is always sufficient... more than sufficient.

Accepting Christ had an impact that only God really understands. I can't remember the exact day or year that it happened, because I went through a period in my life of being unsure whether I was saved or not... a rather long period, actually. In fact, I went through a similar period recently. But I have emerged confident of my salvation, thank God. Once again I am reminded that Christ paid my debt, and that I cannot earn my salvation.

God has always been merciful to my family and I. Even when we had almost nothing, we knew God was still there, and that everything would turn out all right. And it always has, regardless of our lack of ability.

I don't know if I exactly answered yor question, but please be encouraged. God is there, and He cares, no matter how messed up we are. I'm a witness.

God bless!

I guess what I like best is that He is with me all the time- if I have a decision to make and I seek His will He will let me know and then whatever happens from there I know He is in it with me - sometimes it looks like a good decision sometime not so good but that is to the world so it doesnt matter - I always try to remember that the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted - if He is going to be led then I will be also for testing and purifying - I do what He wants and whatever happens is for a reason and will workout for the best in the end
this I believe is the hardest thing for a non-believer to understand - they dont want to suffer or go through hard times - well neither do I but at least I know there is good that will come out when I do go through those times

Even though I grew up in a Christian home I knew that I wasn't a Christian. I knew something was missing in my life and that was Jesus Christ. Jesus is a friend of all friends, and he is someone that is always there for you. He helps you see when you have done wrong and show you the right way and not to follow the way of the world. People now say that I am now more outgoing and can see the love of God in my life.

Wow, this is a really hard question to answer briefly!

Ok. I like the Holy Spirit's guidance more than anything, because I feel the presence of God gently correcting me and reminding me he is there. It feels better than when you are a child, get lost in a store and your mother reappears to dry your tears! Remember how that felt? Imagine it happening over and over again throughout your life.

It changed who I am, how I think and what I do, which is evident to me almost every day. I say almost because I am not always behaving in a way that is acceptable to God, so I reach out again like a scared child, and He reminds me that I am never alone.

It has changed my life in every way imaginable! I went form being a sickly looking introvert who hid out at home and only went out to go to work to being someone who likes to get out and meet people. I love to be able to help ppl. I love to have ppl over, believers and non believers. I have even gotten married to a godly man who treats me like I am so important! I never thought I would see that happen to me!
I know what I am called to do, which is to be a Watchman for Israel. This means that I am to learn about Israel and pray for Her and Her people. This fall, this former introverted sinner, will travel to Israel as part of a Watchman Prayer Pilgrimage.
I love the word of GOD, studying it, learning to live it and even finding out just how far I have to go in my Christian walk. It is a trip worth taking no matter where it leads me.
GOOD QUESTION!!

I like being a Christian because my answers to life are solidified in the Word of God....

I can answer questions and make sense of things in life that I normally couldn't....

It has also helped me to discover the purpose of my life...

It has helped me to change from a raging mad woman hurt woman in the world...

into a self aware...God seeking and people loving person...

It gives purpose to the daily task of living! I know there is good out there, and I can find it if I look. Also, I know there is more to life than right now ... we go on forever ... even after we die. Everything is spiritual, and if it weren't so, then what's everything about. I know there's a purpose for everyone and I know life is eternal, so that's what is important in my life. It makes life easier to live.

Well, I find that I appreciate my days better. I am actually filled with happiness. And, even though this sounds silly, but sometimes feel like crying I am so happy. I enjoy every bit of my day. I never was one for happiness and always looked towards the pessimistic side. But thats all done with.
