Go for the bait and ask her to lunch so you can talk about her letter.

Write her this: "I'm terribly sorry that you think I feel that way..but the truth is, I like you. Sometimes when you really like someone you do stupid things. That is waht I did. The only thing going through my mind was "Does she like me?" or "Gosh I like her so much!" that I lose track of things. The bottom line is, I apoligize for hurting your feelings, because seeing what I did to you hurt mine also. I like you a lot, and want to get to know you better. Will you let me?"
It's a fact that she likes you because she said "All I do is try to get you 2 notice me. Gee kill a girl 4 trying!" so don't worry about the I like you part. It'll be fine. If she had enough guts to write you that letter, you should have the guts to fight for what you know is right.

If you have a sarcastic sense of humor and your idea of joking is harrassing people, that MIGHT be why she wrote a letter feeling offended. What I wrote probably sounds weird actually... I have the type of sense of humor where, when a guy and I like each other, we harrass each other...it's pure jokes, but it's hillarious. Maybe she laughs and "acts" like she's diggin' them, but once you part, she's like "what the hell did just happened?" Best bet, write her a note back or go up and talk to her about it... tell her you didn't mean to offend her, b/c you obviously didn't and ask her what made her think you did offend her, so you can try adn not repeat it again.

If you were giving her a hard time about things, I can see her writing the letter. It could also be she wrote you the letter to judge your reaction. Be honest with her about how you feel, and show her. Do the little thoughtful things that show you care. If she reacted negatively to whatever you said that day, make it a point not to bring it up again.

good luck!

this girl wants even more attention than shes getting. and she is writing you to make you feel bad so you can console or comfort her which causes you to have to pay attention to her. tell her how you really feel and give her a hug if you like her. girls like hugs =)

someone probably told her something. either way, this sounds really immature. you're probably better off without her if she's just going to assume things like this.
