I'd have to say good luck. My dad handed my ex his gun the first time he met him and told him if he ever hurt me it would be the last thing he'd see. Don't know what to tell you, but let him get to know him. That might work.

tell your boyfriend what your dad likes and just have your boyfriend talk about the stuff your dad likes with him.
