Gretna play great football , they definetely have the heart for a fight . for the first couple of seasons i really believe they will be third , fourth position regulars. Once the money starts rolling in who knows ? good luck to them .

It's certainly looking promising and Gretna have done wonders since joining the SFL but let's wait til the end of the season before celebrating.
I've a feeling that St Johnstone will go up this year......but I said that last year as well.
It just goes to show that with a decent millionaire in charge success can be bought. Just be glad it's not Vlad.

The only thing with Gretna getting in the SPL is all time record-braking low attendance's, embarrassing if you ask me, they will go straight down and brook will be big time out of pocket, i cant understand why he chose Gretna in the first place, Queen of the South would of been a better bet for his money

Not a hope the team they have just now would stay up. They are going to have to sign some experience and some more players to cope with the demands. Their squad just now isn't big enough and they would be heading straight back down. But good luck to them.

Also, just an interesting point, where are they going to play? Seeing as their ground won't meet the criteria set out byu the numpties in the SFA HQ. Yet another stupid rule with no merit holding our game back in the dark ages.

All depends on how much they spend and keep moving forward. Highly unlikely to figure in the top six in the first season. It is all about momentum.

All they need is to keep up the the work they're doing which is delivering positive results.

I really hope they reach their goal.

Good Luck!

with the team they have now, they would go straight back down, they need to sign 4-5 players with premier league experience to make a go of it.

I hope they succeed. Then they would beat the Old Firm, win the SPL, and go on to European glory.

Good luck!

I think they will be strong enough to at least hold their own and finish in mid-table.
