I have a big container of plain muffin mix. It says to add 2 cups water to 6 cups mix. If I wanted to make bananas, how many should I add? Should I add anything else also?

Does your recipe indicate how many muffins this amount of mix makes? If it makes a dozen I would 1 cup mashed banana (about 1 large). If it makes more than that I would add banana in proportion to 1 cup mashed banana for every dozen muffins. I don't think I would add any other flavorings. I have a banana muffin recipe and it doesn't have any other flavorings. You could throw in some miniature chocolate chips for an added twist.

I would try adding 4 to 6 bananas mashed with a potato masher , then start by adding only one cup of water the add more until u get a good muffin batter. you should'nt need the entire 2 cups of water. Good Luck

cut small and chunky but some folkes maybe two large or three small and grease and flour or use cupcake papers in the muffins tins they cost about 50 cents for a hundred or so ,, now hears a question back do you roll the chunks in flour or sugar or do you roll in a little milk then use , i dont remember see the idea is do that for the mix ability of the fruit ,, check on food.com or org .. cut back the heat maybe a little and add a little time the tops should be solid and the edges pull away from the sides of the tins

Yes, mash very ripe bananas with cinanamon and maybe some chopped nuts and add to mix. Will be yummmy. You can even make a powdered sugar glaze to spread over muffins when cooled. Outstanding!

Add 1-1/2 cups crushed bananas...if you have banana extract, go ahead and add a Tablespoon or so. Otherwise, don't worry about it.

Bake as normal.

You can mix and match whatever you want in a pre made mix. If the mix calls for water, if you find the batter getting to thick, then just add enough water to make it the consistancy that you want. Be sure to keep track of what you put in, that way if you like it, you know how to make it again!

you can add bananas....

at least 1/3 of the total mix.. that wold be 2.5 cups of bananas....

The mix will support even more, but that relation will give you a fairly good balance....
