I am trying to hookup a DVD player to my tv and I dont have the directions. I have a double ended cable that has three plug things on the ends, each end has a red, white, and yellow one. On the back of the tv there are two rows of holes. The top row goes Red, White. The bottom row goes Red, White, Yellow. The DVD player also has two rows. The top row goes Green, Blue, Red, Yellow. The bottom row goes White Red Black. Please tell me which plus goes in which hole. I have tried so many different combinations and none work. I need to get this thing hooked up as soon as possible because i need to watch a movie for my sociology class. There is a test on it tomorrow.

http://www.ceaconnectionsguide.com/ provides easy to follow directions

After you connect the cables, switch your TV to "video in" mode, or if you have multiple inputs pick the one where the DVD is connected

DVD video out (yellow) ---- to TV video in (yellow)
DVD audio out (Red/white) -- to TV audio in (red/white)
