My mom makes this and passed it down..
Shread your cabbage..Shread carrots..Basically till it's colorful..Add your Miracle Whip or other salad dressing till good and creamy..Add a bit of sugar..Just to give a little sweet taste..
Some people prefer a vinegar cole slaw..Sorry, don't know how to make that..

Best Cole Slaw Restaurant Recipe
Famous Restaurant Recipe
Preparation time: 15 minutes. Serves 4. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 small head of green cabbage, thinly sliced
1 very small amount of red cabbage, thinly sliced for color
1 medium carrot, shredded
Dressing Mix (see below)
Note: You can use 1 package of prepared slaw mix from the grocery store if available. Such a mixture usually has all the above ingredients.
Cole Slaw Dressing Recipe
A Famous And Secret Restaurant Recipe
Preparation time: 10 minutes. Serves 4.
This cole slaw dressing will last 3 weeks in the refrigerator if you wish to make a larger amount.
Ingredients for Restaurant Salad Dressing:
2/3 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons + 2 teaspoons sugar
2/3 teaspoons salt
2/3 teaspoons celery seed
2 tablespoons + 2 teaspoons white vinegar
3/4 teaspoons mustard (or to taste)
Dash of white pepper
Instructions:
Add any other vegetables you like to the slaw mix
Combine all dressing ingredients and mix well
Add only enough dressing to slaw mix to moisten well
Refrigerate
Adjust additional dressing to your taste as some prefer light dressing and others favor heavier dressing
Note: I recommend you add the dressing to your slaw mix just before serving to avoid the slaw becoming soggy.

Directions:
Pulse cabbage and scallions in a food processor to get a finer texture

Regular substitutions:

Low-Carb KFC Style Coleslaw

16 ounces cole slaw mix (shredded cabbage with carrot)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. white pepper
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1/3 cup Splenda granular
1 tbsp. onion powder
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. celery seed (optional)
1/2 cup low fat buttermilk
3 tbsp. lemon juice
Pulse cole slaw mix in a food processor until finely chopped, or chop
by hand.
Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl with a whisk.
Add cole slaw mix, stirring well.
Chill several hours before serving.
Mine is an improvement over Todd's Not so Top Secret Recipe

So far no one has given you an easy recipe. They all tell you to shred your own head of cabbage. I buy a bag of cole slaw mix, then make my own dressing. Or you can buy a bottle of cole slaw dressing. Sold on the same asle where you buy salad dressing. They are very good and you dont have to do anything except pour it over the coleslaw mix a little while before serving.

Old-Fashioned Cole Slaw
Ingredients:
1 quart finely shredded cabbage
3/4 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon cider vinegar
salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions:
Blend all ingredients (except the cabbage) and whip for 1/2 a minute
to mix thoroughly.
Pour over shredded cabbage and toss to mix well
Coleslaw
3 cups shredded green cabbage
2 cups shredded red cabbage
2 cups grated carrot
2/3 cup buttermilk
grated rind of 1 lemon
1 teaspoon mustard
Toss cabbage and carrot together in a bowl. Mix buttermilk, lemon
rind, and mustard together, mix well. Pour over coleslaw and mix
thoroughly. Chill for 1 hour. Stir and serve.
KFC Cole Slaw

8 cups finely chopped cabbage (about 1 head)
1/4 cup shredded carrot (1 medium carrot)
2 tablespoons minced onion
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1. Be sure cabbage and carrots are chopped up into very fine pieces (about
the size of rice).
2. Combine the sugar, salt, pepper, milk, mayonnaise, buttermilk, vinegar,
and lemon juice in a large bowl and beat until smooth.
3. Add the cabbage, carrots, and onion, and mix well.
4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Coleslaw
Low-fat silken tofu sparks this creamy slaw dressing.
Ingredients
1/2 - head green cabbage
1/2 - head red cabbage
2 - large carrots, peeled
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup low-fat silken tofu (about 2 1/2 ounces)
3 tablespoons maple or natural cane sugar
3 tablespoons granulated onion
2 - shallots, peeled
2 tablespoons white or brown rice vinegar
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1/8 teaspoon sea salt
- - Ground black pepper to taste
1/4 teaspoon celery seed
Preparation - Estimated cooking time: 30-60 minutes -
1 Thinly slice red and green cabbage. Transfer to a
large bowl.
2 Shred carrots in a food processor or with a hand
grater. Add to the bowl with the cabbage.
3 Place water, tofu, sugar, granulated onion,
shallots, vinegar, mustard, salt and black pepper in a
food processor and process until smooth.
4 Sprinkle celery seed over cabbage and carrots. Pour
on dressing and toss vegetables to coat.
5 Allow coleslaw to marinate for at least 20 minutes.

and lying to everyone that you made it until they find the container.
or buy pre cut cabbage and cole slaw dressing all ready made
mix in bowl you are done
